The arrival of June 2021 was festive, for HFSW kickstarted the celebrations of Pride Month. Starting from how being part of the queer community is not a “choice” to open letters penned to fictional LGBTQ+ couples by our viewers, the hues of the internet were painted rainbow. Bisexual visibility was discussed in length, and much to our audiences’ delight HSFW released the Pride logo for the month. Observing the Pride calendar, each day denoting a specific identity was acknowledged and celebrated. Informative and vital insights into definitions of different gender identities and sexual orientations were also provided.

In a shared moment of isolated togetherness, an open letter for those coping with loss was written in light of the losses incurred during the pandemic. Homophobia was discussed in length, and posts on acceptance were also published. A window into Gender Dysphoria,  a three-part series was released, elaborating on coping methods and support towards the same.

The pride month by HFSW in June in 2020 discussed several aspects of the LGBTQIA+ community, starting with how being part of the queer community is not a “choice”. Bisexual visibility was discussed in length, and much to our audiences’ delight HSFW released the Pride logo for the month. Definitions and insights into different gender identities and sexual orientations were provided, and the audience found it vital and informative. Several open letters were penned to fictional LGBTQIA+ couples by our viewers, which were published on the Instagram page.

Pride Tables are support groups that are carefully, confidentially structured and hosted by HFSW every few months to provide a safe space for the LGBTQ+ Community.
